Full Description: The Long Island City Business Development Corporation (LICBDC) has a three-decade track record in assisting the businesses in Long Island City. Today the organizations role is more crucial than ever as the economic challenges faced by the community are universal. All sectors and business sizes have been impacted and as we enter 2010 LICBDC pledges to remain at the forefront in advocating for the LIC neighborhoods.
Mission Statement: Long Island City Business Development Corporation (LICBDC) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) local development corporation, founded in 1979. LICBDC works to improve the climate for business in greater Long Island City, by assisting individual businesses, and advocating for economic development that benefits LIC's industrial, commercial, cultural and residential sectors.
LICBDC is governed by a Board of Directors, and has many member companies and organizations.
