Long Island City, NY April 3, 2012 -
The Foodcellar Market and Eatery is planning its third customer appreciation event called "Taste of Foodcellar".
Once again, the owners and managers of Foodcellar Market & Eatery have arranged with over forty of their food, beer, beverage, and snack vendors to set up tables in various locations inside the store so that customers can sample a taste of their products.
This has been a blockbuster event in the past, attracting thoudands of local residents and visitors.
With all of the new residents that have moved into the Long Island City / Hunters Point Community community during the past six months, this will be an opportunity to meet new people, and taste the carefully selected items being offered.
Metin Mangut, a partner, said that there will again be special emphasis on local vendors who will be represented.
Foodcellar is the first major market in Long Island City's Hunters Point. It formed an 'anchor' for the development of the high rise residential condominiums and apartments, making the Center Blvd area attractive and vibrant for new residents.

Foodcellar includes a butcher shop, fresh fish department, bakery, pizza oven, deli, carving table, salad bars, fresh produce, cheese shop, and all other major food types in a spacious store with an attractive decor.
