Long Island City, NY October 30, 2012 - GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES MTA BRIDGES OPEN TO EMERGENCY PERSONNEL ONLY Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that MTA bridges are open to emergency personnel only, effective immediately. That includes fire and police personnel, first responders, and medical personnel which include doctors, nurses, etc. Assessments are ongoing as to whether bridges are reopening to the public. These MTA bridges include: Robert F.
