The guidebook will be updated daily as new information becomes available, the link will always provide the most updated version of the guidebook.   Under current federal declarations, counties and municipalities are eligible for a variety of recovery programs, including payments of not less than 75 percent of certain costs for removing debris from public areas and for emergency measures, including direct federal assistance, to save lives and protect property and public health, as well as no more than 75 percent of approved costs for hazard mitigation projects to prevent or reduce long-term risk to life and property from natural disasters.   If you or your staff have questions regarding eligibility requirements for federal funding or require assistance with working with relevant federal agencies on your community’s recovery, please do not hesitate to contact Jon Cardinal or Andrew Usyk in my office at (202) 224-4451.
