Flushing, New York May 18, 2010 - Queens Economic Development Corporation hosted its 2010 TASTE OF THE WORLD at Citi Field.  The much anticipated event was a huge success for participating Queens borough restaurants. TASTE OF THE WORLD is an important event.  It promotes the diversity of Queens, the variety of cultures and foods, and the restaurants that make Queens a vital and exciting place to live and work. Residents of Queens and the greater regional area, along with business people and leaders of the community were able to sample both delicate and robust foods especially prepared. Servings were generous. Queens Economic Development Corporation is the primary promoter of Tourism for Queens.
