Sunnyside, NY October 18, 2011 - The Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce and Sunnyside Shines (BID) combined forces to bring residents and restaurant owners together for a successful 2nd Annual Taste of Sunnyside.  On Tuesday night, October 18th they turned the Sunnyside Community Center into a food court, offering resident foodies a way to sample offerings from local Thai, Mexican, Turkish, Italian, and other restuarant cuisines. Two sessions were sold out.  An estimated 500 people participated. OurLIC attended and presents a video and photo review of the event. Bon Appetite!  Sunnyside is a community that is rich with a multicultural setting.  It boasts many authentic cuisines from around the world, and has recently been enjoying a rejuvenation as a trendy place for professionals.  Like Woodside, the community is not only fed by great restaurants, pubs, and clubs, it is also fed by the 7 Subway line and Queens Blvd.
