Long Island City, NY July 21, 2012 -
On July 21st, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer honored the life of Carlo A. Lanzillotti, by dedicating 41st Street and 48th Avenue, “Carlo A. Lanzillotti Place” in Sunnyside. This special ceremony celebrated the former Sunnyside resident, who served the nation during the Korean War and represented the 7th Senate District during the 1950s. In this photo, Council Member Van Bramer is joined by Carlo A. Lanzotti’s three daughters, Don McCallian, President of the United 40s Civic Association, and Joe Conely, Chair of Community Board 2.
