Long Island City, New York June 10, 2011 - Al Volpe is outspoken.  He is a respected Member of Community Board #2 and Vice Chair, Board of Directors, of Woodside on the Move. Al Volpe also loves restaurants...and everyone knows it. He is a regular advocate for Skillman Avenue in his Wooodside neighborhood.  Without fail, whether it is a Community Board meeting or a Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce meeting, Al Volpe makes certain to mention La Marjolaine Bakery & Pastry shop and one or two other of his favorite Skillman Avenue neighborhood restaurants. OurLIC decided to see what Al raves about first hand.  We visited him at La Marjolaine one morning so that we could share the experience and have him talk about his favorite neighborhood.. Marjolain is a charming French Bakery & Pastry and a perfect place for Al Volpe to tell his story about Skillman Ave. Al also raved about other restaurants.  For example, there is a sushi restaurant T.
