Their excellent chef has been honing his skills for the past 30 years; and, the perfecting of his dishes are the reward that you will enjoy! We are excited about the food at OKEANOS Greek Seafood Restaurant. It is delicious and world class, offering diners a great value.  Food is abundant and presented in an appetizing way. OKEANOS is a CityEntree RECOMMENDED restaurant. The appetizers are delicious and generous. Try the sesame crusted feta with olives and figs, or the roasted beets served with their wonderful, garlicy skordalia. Salads are made with the ripest red tomatoes, marinated olives, crisp cucumbers, everything you would expect and more. Entrees are delicious, using the freshest ingredients available. The fish is chosen, market fresh, every morning. Staples on the menu are, Red Snapper, Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, Bronzini, and Dorata. But there is usually a daily special or two.  Grilled, whole, they are beautiful to look at...and extremely tasty. Lamb chops are tender, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. They also have very nice souvlaki selection, pork, chicken or lamb, and some homestyle Greek comfort foods like Baked Lamb Shank served over orzo with a fresh tomato sauce and feta cheese or Moussaka with layers of eggplant, potatoes, seasoned minced meat, and crowned with a bechamel sauce that will melt in your mouth! There are so many wonderful dishes that you will go back again and again! It is a very pretty, well appointed restaurant with white table cloths, interesting art work, an accommodating kitchen and professional but friendly staff. In the warm months, the windowed walls open to the sidewalk providing outdoor dining indoors.  It's a relaxing an unhurried atmosphere. OKEANOS offers full bar service with a nice wine list and enjoyable background music. Also try OKEANOS for lunch, its the best tasting, best bargain in town at an incredible $9.95, served from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This lunch will surprise you. We tried the grilled shrimp, four large shrimp grilled in the shell served with rice pilaf and salad. Wonderful! OKEANOS is a MUST TRY, authentic Greek restaurant.
