How to Get There: One of the best ways to get to Riverview Restaurant is via the new Ferry service that stops in Long Island City. It departs from several locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
By Subway
Take the number 7 train to Vernon-Jackson station (one stop east of Grand Central Station). Make a right and walk until you can't go straight. Make a left turn and we are in the corner by the east river.
Driving
From Manhattan via Queens Bridge
Take 59th Street Bridge (Lower Level). Stay on the right lane. Make a right at Jackson Avenue. Right on 48th Ave. Pass Vernon Blvd. Head toward east river. Make a left at Center Blvd. We are on the corner of 49th Ave. and Center Blvd.

From Manhattan via Queens Midtown Tunnel
Take Queens Midtown Tunnel. Stay on the right lane. Pay the toll all the way to the right. Take first exit (Exit 13). Turn right on to Borden Ave. At first light make a right turn on Vernon Blvd. Proceed straight on Vernon Blvd. Make a left on 49th Ave. At second stop sign, Riverview Restaurant & Lounge will be on your left facing the water.

From Northern Blvd
Take Northern Boulevard straight down. Once you're under the overpass for the Queensboro Bridge, Northern Boulevard turns into Jackson Avenue. Make a right on to 51st Avenue. Another left on 50th Avenue. Once at the waterfront, turn right on to Center Boulevard. Turn right on to 2nd Street. We are on your right hand side on the corner of Center Blvd and 49th Ave.

From Queens Boulevard
Take Queens Blvd. to Jackson Ave. straight ahead until 48th Ave. Make a right turn and go straight until you can no longer go straight. Then make a left turn. We are on the corner by the East River.

From Long Island, Queens
Take Long Island Express Way Westbound towards NYC. Take last exit before the tunnel (15 E Van Dam Street). At the light off the exit, continue straight to Borden Ave. Go straight 7-8 blocks, pass the LIE entrance - then make a right on Vernon Blvd. Then make a left on to 49th Ave. At the second stop sign, we are to the right by the water.

From Connecticut, Westchester & The Bronx
I-95 South (New England Thruway) to Bruckner Expressway to RFK Bridge towards Long Island. Pay toll. Once over the bridge take exit at the end of the span (31st St. Commercial Traffic Only) Take immediate right on to 29th St. and proceed all the way to the end. Make a right on to Astoria Blvd. On 21st St. make a left turn. Proceed straight for 1.5 miles. Take a right on to 43rd Ave and go all the way until the end. Make a left on to Vernon Blvd. Go straight for 1 mile. Turn right on to 49th Ave. At second stop sign, we are on your left.
Driving From Brooklyn
Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Long Island Expressway Westbound. Then follow the directions for Long Island and Queens.

From New Jersey
Take the George Washington Bridge (stay on the second to right-hand lane). Get off at the Harlem East River / FDR Drive exit. The exit ramp will split. Stay to the LEFT. Continue straight for approx. 8 miles to exit 8 (Queens Midtown Tunnel exit). Take second right after exit. Proceed to third traffic light and make a left on to 2nd Ave/ Stay to the left and take the next left towards the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Once through the tunnel, stay to the left toll lane. Take the first exit after the toll (approx. 20ft) Then follow the directions under "From Manhattan"
