The qgazette writes "The entrees include such Irish favorites as tender and lean corned beef and cabbage or classic fish and chips ($9.25). Shepherd's pie made with chunks of beef in gravy and topped with creamy mashed potatoes is baked and served in a crock. Homemade chicken potpie topped with a flaky, pastry crust is just $8.95. Bangers and mash (mashed potatoes) is another favorite. Don't forget to order a side dish of Shannon Pot's famous Irish baked beans with smoked bacon.
Grilled pork chops are thick and juicy, served with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The spicy chicken and vegetable curry, served in a clay pot and accompanied by homemade bread, is quite popular. The cooked-to-order, 12-ounce New York strip steak is enhanced by Irish steak sauce ($11.95). Daily specials can include fresh fish dishes such as broiled flounder, Atlantic salmon or tuna. Linguine with garlic and oil is tossed with choice of shrimp or chunks of Cajun style chicken for a hearty meal.
Shannon Pot makes great burgers and you can order them for lunch, dinner or at the bar. The Shannon Pot burger is topped with mushrooms, onions, cheddar and Irish bacon and served on a big bun with French fries and pickles. Cajun burgers or barbecue burgers also merit a try. The generously sized Reuben sandwich is a classic, as is the steak sandwich with sauted onions, served on garlic bread. A turkey club with cheddar is great, too. "
