Hunters Point, NY July 14, 2009 -
Joseph Conley, Chairman Community Board 2, and the members of the Community Board, received many letters and emails requesting no new liquor licenses be granted along Vernon Blvd. A public meeting was scheduled on July 14, 2009 for the following purposes;
- To hear public comment regarding liquor license applications along Vernon Blvd. and to hear comments so that a fair and balanced approach to liquor licenses applications are considered recognizing the interests of both residents and businesses in the area while preserving and improving the quality of life in Hunters Point.
- To hear presentations from the following applicants for liquor
A. Manducatis Rustica vig
- on premises liquor license
- consumer affairs application for an unenclosed sidewalk cafe for 12 tables and 28 seats.
B. LIC Restaurant llc,
- on premises liquor license
C. Semill inc. d/b/a Lounge 47,
- renewal of on premises liquor license
D. Roscrana llc,
- transfer of on premises liquor license from semill inc. d/b/a Lounge 47
There was an opportunity for public comment by interested parties.
