Long Island City, NY February 20, 2010 -Frank Carrado, Long time resident and photojournalist of Long Island City, received a Proclamaition as Honorary Mayor of Long Island City from the City Council of New York. Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer presented the award at Carrado's 80th Birthday.
Frank Carrado also received a Citation from The State of New York for his examplary service to his community as an outstanding citizen. The Citation was Resolved by Assemblywoman Cathy Nolan.

Frank Carrodo's photography is displayed at the Greater Astoria Historical Society.
