BOCCE Bakes while QEDC Gets Ready to Cut the Ribbon on Entrepreneur's Space.

New Commercial Kitchen Incubator is Set to Officially Open Wednesday, January 19th at 4:00 PM

In October, OurLIC provided an advanced, inside look at the new QEDC business incubator in our artilce "An Inside Look at the New Entrepreneur's Incubator. QEDC  opens this Facility with an  Innovative Business Model".   The long awaited Grand Opening is scheduled for Thursday,  January  19th.  We returned to have another look inside before the opening.

On the day we visited, we were lucky enough to catch Andrea Tovar on her very first day at Entrepreneur's Space.  She is the entrepreneurial Founder of Bocce’s Bakery, an all natural, organic dog biscuit company.

The Queens Economic Development Corporation [ QEDC ], which has invested over $100,000 in the the incubator, says that "The Entrepreneur's Space provides a home to emerging businesses and organizations seeking offices, a commercial kitchen and/or classroom/meeting space. In addition to space, clients can receive business counseling, technical assistance and networking opportunities - all at a reasonable cost. This article and related articles show the inside view of the innovative facility."
