Dear Friends of Ring 8,
Ring 8 is excited once again to host our annual Holiday and Awards Ceremony. Thanks to your generous support, we are thrilled to continue this Ring 8 tradition.
We are grateful for the opportunity to honor members of our Ring 8 Family who have truly gone above and beyond to enrich the boxing community. This is also our main fundraiser for the year and our primary means of funding and assisting boxers in need.
The Gala Journal will be displayed and distributed during the evening of the Gala and will reach hundreds of members and nonmembers in the boxing community. Please support our efforts by placing a business or personal ad in this year’s Journal. We have adjusted the rates of our Journal to be sensitive to the current economic climate. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to effectively advertise your business, and to extend your good wishes to our honorees. Additionally, we welcome any contributions or suggestions for our silent auction.
Thank you so much again for your past support, and we continue to count on your support as we strive to bring out the best in our boxing community.

Hi Everyone:
Hope you are doing well and I wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.
To make next year a great year for our families and neighborhood, we wil be starting a Democratic Club in LIC. As LIC is changing rapidly it is important that our input is heard and acted upon.
We would really appreciate it if you could join us this Monday at the Jackson Steak House at 6:30pm for a meeting to discuss the formation of the club. No charge, just an informal dinner meeting. However if you could bring a toy for charity,it would be very appreciated as we will be collecting for a charity toy drive.
Please rsvp to let me know if you are coming and please circulate this to anyone you think would be interested.
Hope to see you there.
Happy Holidays.
best regards,
Brent O'Leary
