Great Greek Concert Dedicated To Rembetika (Greek blues)

A musical tribute to the everlasting songs of legendary songwriter Yiannis Papaioannou

On Friday, November 5, 2011 at 8pm, the cultural organization CYPRECO of America, Inc., presents a very unique concert dedicated to "The Everlasting Songs of Yiannis Papaioannou", to benefit the non-profit and commercial free radio AKTINA FM on New York's public station WNYE 91.5FM/HD1. Featuring a group of leading musicians comprised by Leda Maniatakou, vocals, Christos Papadopoulos, bouzouki/vocals, Megan Gould, violin/baglama and Mathias Kunzli, percussion, under the direction of the renowned composer/guitarist Spiros Exaras.
