| Description: | Michelle Kawka studied photography at New England School of Photography in Boston and at the School of Visual Arts. Select clients include the Queens Courier Newspaper, ThisisOurQueens.com, Nexcare Bandages, Queens Long Island Medical Group, The Association of Junior Leagues International, Vipp Bins, The Business Development Group, LaForce + Stevens Public Relations, Kangaroos Shoes, and St. Francis Prep High School. Michelle's images have been exhibited in New York and Boston. She photographed the book Changing Habits: The Caregivers Total Workout by stress management expert Debbie Mandel. Michelle graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in European Literature. She discovered photography while studying in Padova, Italy. Her senior essay and photography exhibit "Mask, Mime and Mystery: the Social and Religious Traditions of the Venetian Carnival" was received with honors. Michelle photographs people, places & things. She is on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of the America Society of Media Photographers. |
